Welcome to The Idle Hour, Barons Court

Welcome to my new pub in Barons Court! After 10 years in Barnes I felt it was time to spread my wings and open another here. I officially opened in May 2010 and have built a good clientele steadily ever since. It is a really stunning site – very light and airy and with a convertible roof for those rare summer days/evenings and lots of comfortable seating areas both in the bar and the restaurant filled with candles and fresh flowers.

We have a stunning food offering at ‘local’ prices and have a superb stock of quality, mainly organic, wines, well kept beers and ales - not to mention a wider than average range of spirits and a cocktail list for when
you are in the mood.

Sunday roasts are something truly special (whole joints you carve at the table) and our multi award winning burgers are half price every Monday.

We are able to put on great parties upstairs in our versatile function room whether it be a private dinner, cocktail party or even a wedding/engagement party. We even have delegate facilities for corporate use…

I am totally independent with no affiliation to any one brewery or corporation and as such will bend over backwards to meet your needs. I hope you’ll pop in soon!
